About
What is this project about?
This site is the place, where any webmaster can use my services, or just find other people, who can make other types of jobs, like a content writing, creating design and so on.
I can provide the next list of services:
Convert Adobe Photoshop psd into html. It is not what you may think, if you have some experience with Adobe Photoshop. I do not mean that you just create slices, and export them. This method is not acceptable for high quality websites, because the code is not optimized for the most popular browsers, also as I remember, html code is saved to tables. Often it is much better to put several layers on page with different part of backgrounds, rather than putting on just a simple image, which is much simpler! Fix your website to a valid html or xhtml. If your current site is not a valid html or xhtml site, I can fix the problems.
Another useful thing is to convert your website into divs, instead of tables. You site will load on other way. I usually recommend to use divs. However, it is harder to make your site appear exactly the same for the most popular browsers.
Converting psd into html.
This process is usually called something like html slicing etc. The main idea is, that you have a psd file, and want to get a html file or files, that can be uploaded to your web server. The main requirements always are:
Html code must be valid, and pass validation tests. Many webmasters just do not care about that.
You website must appear correctly for the most popular resolutions, beginning from 800×600, and ending with 1680×1200, or even bigger. This is much harder task, than just exporting some slice element from Photoshop.
Your website must appear the same at least for the most popular web browsers. I usually adapt and test html for IE6, IE7, Opera, Mozilla and Safari browsers.
Avoid using CSS hacks. Even if this sometimes is a fast way to resolve some slicing problems, I would not recommend to use them, because you newer know, if hack will work when the next version of browser is out.
Of course, there are much more guides, and I will not list them here, and you understand why, I suppose.
If you are just exporting slices, you will newer understand, what is the difference between 20$ slicing, and 100$ slicing.
